While in Rehoboth and after a weekend of too many beers for my taste buds I had to pick up a bottle of brown. Having never seen Ardbeg before on the shelves in Philadelphia I grabbed it. This has to be one of the peaty-ist Islay whiskys I have ever had. It took a few neat drams for it to settle in but after that it was a fine drink to come home to after a day at the beach. Funny enough the wife could smell the peat from across the room!
